A lazy morning and
then we went to the curling club around 1 pm. Joan's family, Matthew's family,
Brian & Dorothy, Cathy, Sean's family plus Gillian's boyfriend Kevin. Some
threw a few practice rocks and there was a card game on the go. Lots of food
and then we sat in a large circle (23 of us) and opened "stockings".
Joan also had gifts for us and Aiden & River had lots of gifts too. After
gifts they had 2 rinks of curlers playing while us old folks got caught up on the
family news. Then another card game and we cleaned up. Everyone left but CW and
boys and John and I as Troy & Cathy and family dropped in for a short
visit. We were home around 10 pm. A wonderful day!
