March 22

Friday March 22
Had a good night sleep and had coffee with Charlie. Got dressed and followed Sean and Tammy to the base. There were 150 people in attendance for Woody including his sister, brother and parents. Friends from afar, Sharon's brothers, Tammy, CW's boys, and ourselves and co-workers past and present. Lots of nice things said about his very impressive career in the Air Force. Gifts were given and Philip was pleased with his syrup and the twins liked their hats and scarves. We got a lovely family picture from John & Sharon and a lot of income tax stuff. Meghan had jewellery orders ready for me to bring home. We stopped at the Home Hardware Furniture Store in Perth and bought an electric fireplace and mantle designed for a TV. We were home at 6:30 pm.

Thursday March 21
Didn't get on the road till 9. Had coffee to go from BH. Stopped in Perth at Home Hardware and bought 2 staplers for Woody, birthday and retirement gift. Stopped at Rona and got 2 small light ceiling circles for middle room and our room also a bird house to assemble. Met the kids for lunch at the Vietnamese Restaurant and had my "noodles". Ikea was next and we got a small dresser for the window, a folding stool for the kitchen, 2 bed-side reading lamps, a blue and white duvet cover for our bed and a lot of little things. At Centrum Plaza we got Olympic hats and scarves for Alexandre and Patrick at Home Outfitters. We met Sean at a the Loblaws and went to the game. Had supper at the stadium. Great seats on the 3rd tier at the front looking over the goal net. Exciting game tied till near the end but Boston won with a last minuet goal. Back at Sean's we had a drink and chat with Tammy before bed. A busy day!

March 17-19

Sunday March 17
Happy St. Patrick's Day. I wore my green dress to Mass, which was for my Mom who would have been 95 today. I still miss her and hard to believe she has been gone for 5 years. After Mass we had breakfast at BH with Hendrina. Harry & Carole were at Mass which was nice. Spent the afternoon playing an Agatha Christie  game. These games can be addictive!
Monday March 18

Well it is Monday and I go to update my Blog and guess what? Crosstown and Organized Chaos have gone off the grid in Blogger and A Day in the life is back!!! It seems to have something to do with cookies and signing in. I just wish I could get all 3 on one page. So today we are posting on A Day in the Life. If you follow my blogs please bookmark them all and check to see which one is in the loop this week! Sorry for the confusion.

Tuesday March 19

Brother Joseph's birthday and St. Joseph's Day. Went to work. Pretty bland day. Sean called and invited us to a Senator's game on Thursday. Christopher called and we discussed Philip's birthday gift.

Wednesday March 20
Work as usual, had an awful time waking up. Went to choir practice at 4:30. Packed for tomorrow.
