Burger Hut closed, I
wonder if Paul is sick. His neck has been bothering him a lot. Had breakfast in
Havelock and John talked to the cook (business trip). The restaurant was busy
as there are still areas without power. John jury-rigged a clothes line for me
and I got some things dry but it was cold and dull 6°C. John left his hat at
the restaurant and as we had to go back we continued to Campbellford and went
to LW and bought mattress covers, windshield wiper for the back of the van.
Then on to Giant Tiger for a gift for our Goddaughter, queen size sheets and
food.
Monday April 15
Beautiful sunny day.
Sunny and high of 16°C. Got two loads of clothes dry on the line. Made two
meatloaves for supper but wasn't fond of them.
Tuesday April 16
Work as usual. Burger
Hut still closed. I guess he is having staff problems.
Wednesday April 17
Work. Had lunch at the
Lighthouse and I enjoyed the pizza.
Thursday April 18
Did the summer clothes
change over and it took all day. John went to Lion's. Christopher called and
all is well in Cornwall.
Friday April 19
BH still closed so had
lunch at Banjo's in Hasting. Not as impressed as the last time.
