Sunday May 19
Went to 10:30
Mass and I sang with Theo. Leo & Carmel joined us for breakfast at BH. Went
to Al & Jean B’s 70th Anniversary party at the Millennium Room.
We drove to Peterborough and bought a double bed for the middle bedroom. It
will be delivered on Wednesday.
Monday May 20
Victoria Day.
Working on getting the books out of the bedroom so we can get the new bed in.
Moved the shelves to the corner and John fixed the crack in the wall.
Tuesday May 21
Cathy joined me
at work today to get an idea of what to do. She took me to lunch at BH. John and I went to the Historical Society
meeting. Judy gave a rather long and sometimes boring talk on the Grover
Family. Parts were interesting but al little too much info on the family that
didn’t have anything to do or live in Asphodel/Norwood. Humid and thunder
storms.
Wednesday May 22
John had blood
work done. Went to work and Carole picked me up and we went to the Skillet for
coffee (BH closed Wednesday). We sat and talked for an hour and got caught up
on the news. John put the wardrobe in the guest room. Still humid and threat of
thunderstorms.
Thursday May 23
Cloudy and humid
but going to cool off considerable for tomorrow. Worked on books again. Had
coffee at BH. John went to the Dr.’s and his blood work if fine but he is going
to have an EKG done (hospital will call) as it has been awhile since he had
one.
Friday May 24
One more week to
go. Met Meghan and her friends Joseph and Angie at BH. They were on their way
to Bordon.
Saturday May 25
Gina and Kyle’s
wedding at the Navy Club. Weather just right not too hot and not too many bugs.
Lovely wedding and Zoe made a grat wedding planner. We left after the dinner
and met Sharon & John at Aunt Joan’s and then we went home and had a
pleasant evening.
